10 Tb of butter
5 ounces of chocolate chips
3 Tb of cake flour
1/3 c all purpose flour
1/2 c unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 large eggs
3/4 c sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Ice cream
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put cupcake wrappers in muffin pan. In a small saucepan, melt butter on med heat. Add half of the chocolate chips to the saucepan and whisk until melted. Let cool slightly.
2. In small bowl combine cake flour, all purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, and salt. In a large bowl using electric mixer beat the eggs with the sugar on medium speed until they turn pale and thicken up, approx 5 minutes. Beat in the vanilla extract and slowly add the melted chocolate mixture. Be careful if you pour too fast it will scramble the eggs! Add the dry ingredients to the bowl gradually while you beat them. Using a spatula scrap the bowl and add the rest of the chocolate chips.
3. Spoon the batter into the prepared cupcake pan and bake for 22 minutes.(If you really love chocolate take Hershey kisses or some chocolate bars and press them in the top of batter for a pretty addition) Let the cakes cool for 15 minutes and then remove them and serve with ice cream. They are very chocolaty brownie cakes you will want a large glass of milk or a bowl of ice cream to go with them. Enjoy!
Hope you enjoy because they made an adorable Valentine's Day surprise!
